1. Serve as the technical leader for all aspects of software systems integration and data analytics application development used by Supply Chain team members in order to provide more meaningful insight to make impactful data-driven business decisions2. Provide strategic leadership in regard to technical solutions across a full-stack of development tools and technologies while collaborating with multiple business partners and Product Owners to consume business requirements and deliver technical solutions that meet the needs of the Supply Chain team and business partners3. Provide senior-level coding, testing, and analysis of software data analytics applications and other internal software data analytics platform applications and systems using computer software and programs such as Shell Script, JavaScript, Python, and SQL in order to develop high performing and high volume data pipelines and to bring together complex information from different source systems4. Architect high-level internal platform software business intelligence application architecture and program specifications for new business intelligence software applications while ensuring that expected application performance levels are achieved by managing interfaces, service levels, standards, data quality and privacy, and configurations5. Analyze and study software business intelligence data analytics applications design and information needs, and provide senior-level recommendations for technical solutions and upgrades to Directors6. Perform senior-level research and analysis of new business intelligence information systems and software technology within the retail industry that will help improve efficiency and effectiveness for overall business and data analytics7. Establish governance and policy of canonical data types while leading extraction, transformation, and loading of business intelligence data through the development of corresponding software systems infrastructure8. Collaborate closing with Consulting Engineer peers, Scrum Masters, and Product Owners from other teams to deliver cross-functional projects with complex dependencies to ensure changes are appropriate for the Supply Chain team while also providing the needed functionality for the project9. Directly oversee two (2) software development engineers A Bachelor's Degree in Applied Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology is required (foreign educational equivalent is acceptable); however, The Finish Line USA Inc. will also accept a U.S. Single-Source Bachelor's Degree Equivalent through any combination of education, degrees, diplomas, and/or certificates as determined by a professional evaluation service, or any suitable combination of education, training, or experience. Also required is 24 months of experience as a Hadoop Developer, Software Engineer, or Data Engineer. Education or experience must include at least 12 months of demonstrated ability utilizing the following computer software and programs: Shell Script; JavaScript; Python; and SQL.
