1. Meet with patients to examine teeth, gums, and related tissues and extractions and denture services using sophisticated dental instruments, x-rays, and other diagnostic equipment to evaluate dental health, diagnose diseases or abnormalities, and establish a plan for better dental hygiene2. Order advanced diagnostic measures, such as x-rays and models while using advanced tools such as drills, probes, brushes, and mirrors to examine and treat teeth and mouth3. Maintain and analyze records relating to the oral health of patients and the treatments given to them4. Obtain complete dental history and physical data on patients and record data5. Synthesizes data to determine preliminary diagnosis and therapeutic plan utilizing principles of prevention and/or treatment6. Participate in and provide input to educational programs established through affiliation agreements with colleges and universities7. Manage and communicate with other professional staff members to provide care to patients A Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree or Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree (A foreign educational equivalent is acceptable) is required; however, Echo Community Health Care Inc. will also accept a U.S. Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree equivalent or U.S. Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree equivalent based upon successful completion of a single-source five (5) year or more Bachelor Degree in Dental Surgery or Dental Medicine as determined by a professional evaluation service, or any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
